Hi and welcome to my blog,

it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything due to being overwhelmed with work and life in general. Now we are back in lockdown in England and I have time to focus on stories that matter. I want to recap and share my first short documentary about my uncle’s undiagnosed disability.

Dennis Wilson has lived with a condition that has left him disabled for 13 years. Doctors recently diagnosed it as GBS but also think it might be something different… see below for more information.

Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rare condition in which a person’s immune system attacks the peripheral nerves. People of all ages can be affected, but it is more common in adults and in males. Most people recover fully from even the most severe cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome. From World Health Organisation.

His daughter Shanice and I decided to share his story with the world as he was battling with Grade 4 Sepsis due to the bad care he was receiving. We are also still raising money so we can get him the help he needs to live a normal life. https://www.gofundme.com/dennisundiag…

Here is the link to Shanice’s story about Being a Young Carer https://youtu.be/Valexz3kUUA

Below is his documentary, please share it with as many people as possible.

Love, Rochelle
