Activities

Community activities and wellbeing

We work alongside smaller refugee and migrant community groups to bring people together through sport, creative activities and digital support.

A community event at Integration Station

Meet people, share skills, build confidence

Our activities create welcoming opportunities to meet others, share skills and build confidence. Working with community groups helps us shape activities around the interests, cultures and needs of the people taking part.

Sport and physical activity

We collaborate with community groups to offer sporting activities that help people stay active, enjoy time together and develop friendships.

These activities encourage teamwork and bring people from different backgrounds and generations together.

Sewing, embroidery and wellbeing

Our sewing and embroidery activities give people space to be creative, exchange ideas and learn from one another. Participants can practise existing skills, try something new and celebrate their cultural traditions while building connections.

These shared activities help reduce isolation and support wellbeing through creativity, conversation and a sense of belonging.

One-to-one digital support

Digital access and confidence

We help people develop the confidence and skills to use digital technology in everyday life. Support includes using smartphones and computers, accessing online information and services, communicating with others and completing everyday digital tasks.

We recognise that people have different starting points and provide patient, practical support shaped around their needs.

Working alongside community groups

Smaller refugee and migrant community organisations bring valuable knowledge, trusted relationships and cultural understanding.

By working together, we help create activities that reflect their communities’ priorities and provide opportunities for members to share their skills and contribute to local life.
